Dr. Hendricks
Dan Hendricks has previously served as vice chancellor for advancement at Purdue University at Calumet, executive director of the Western Illinois University Foundation and vice president for advancement and public services, vice president and chief development officer for the Louisiana State University Foundation, director and chief operations officer for The Campaign for University of Kentucky, director of planned giving for Hanover College and vice president for university advancement at the University of North Alabama. Hendricks is a graduate of DePauw University and holds a master's degree and Ph.D. from Duke University.
Dan Hendricks In 2018, helped create and launch the Alabama State Parks Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to fundraising and other support of the State Parks System. He became the organization’s first president and served through January 2024.
Dan Hendricks participates in and sits on the board of directors of the Alabama Senior Olympics.
He and his wife Barbara reside in Florence, Alabama
